How to Recognize When You Are Feeling Anxious

Before you can begin managing your anxiety, you must first learn to recognize the moments you feel anxious. Signs and symptoms you may be experiencing anxiety include:

  • Feelings of worry, nervousness, fear, or tension
  • An increased heart rate
  • Trembling or shaking
  • Hyperventilation or increased breathing rate
  • Sweating
  • Fatigue or weakness
  • Stomach issues
  • Struggling to sleep
  • Difficulty focusing on anything other than the things you are worried about.
